getting and sending all emails twice!

I am getting alerted for every email I get in my gmail account twice. There are 2 icons on phone. One looks like just an envelope and one looks like an envelope with an M in it, (a special gmail icon). The problem is - both are hooked up for my gmail account - so everything is in duplicate. I just realized that when I send an email through my phone, the receiver gets 2 copies. HELP!

Choose which app you want to use and delete your account from the other one. I would personally stick with the gmail app. I have all kinds of issues with the stock mail app.
