Gingerbread Update did not come?

I just got my DINC2 on the 18th and have been reading about how verzion released the 2.3 update for the phone. I tried the manual way to install it, (Menu>Settings Menu>Software update>Check Now) but no update is necessary as my phone keeps reminding me. Am I missing something or do I just have to wait some more time to see if Verizon sends it to me?

Give it a few more days. Verizon does the updates in pushes and sometimes stops to correct common issues that have popped up.

Also check your software version. If its 2.3.3 then you already have it. I think the ota was on the 10th so the Rep might have done it in the store.

I got mine on the 15th and when I got outside the store it was already wanting to update.
