Globe app?

Got a quick question, I ran into a guy who had the droid X and his home app screen was in a shape of a sphere or globe, I asked him how he did it he said his friend did it He did not know how, anyone know how to do it??? Its just like the new commercials like the pic below. And yes it was a Droid X

Yea I bought that one earlier and got a refund, piece of crap, junk. Force closes everytime. Never got to see what it look like on the phone, lol
