gmail stoped syncing

out of the blue yesterday I noticed my Gmail was no longer syncing. before, when I got a new email it was almost a instant notification. now its just nothing. not one notification. I have to manually go in to gmail and hit refresh. anyone have this issue before and know how to fix it? Ive checked the accounts in settings and nothings changed. no settings in gmail have changed ether. any advice would be great

i've had the same issue start up today, too. not sure what's going on...

Check your Power Control widget to make sure that sync is enabled for your phone. Sadly, this widget is the ONLY was to make sure.

If sync is enabled and it still isn't working, try pulling the battery and turning the phone back on. That seems to make my phone rescan my accounts.
