New to Droid and this forum so please excuse me if this question has already been covered. A search and browsing the forum has not found my answer.
I have switched to Gmail as my primary email; it's the only email account I have set up on the phone.
I am able to delete emails form the Inbox and the go into the trash folder.... so far, so good. When I go to Trash I am able to delete messages one by one or in batches.... ok. The messages disappear from view as expected. Now the problem... after going back to the trash folder the messages reappear. No matter how many times I delete them from the phone, they reappear. The only way I have been able to permanently delete the trash is to do so from my desktop computer. What needs to be corrected?
I plan to shut down my home computer so I would like to get this resolved rather then wait for a 30-day automatic purge.
