GMail Won't Load?

Everytime I click on my GMail icon all it says is that it is loading conversations. I can't figure out why it won't load.

does anybody else have this issue? solutions?

No, but maybe you need to phone setttings > applications > manage applications > menu > filter > all > gmail storage > clear data

Maybe reboot too if necessary.
