Gmail

I am just noticing that I am getting no gmail new mail alerts since the update....it looks like all my settings are set in a way that I should be getting the notifications but Im not, only get new mail if I open gmail on the phone and hit refresh, then if there is mail it comes up...any ideals??

Ok what I did was go to apps and gmail land cleared cache....then reopened gmail thru phone and reset my notification settings and it seems to be working now..
