Gnex notification issue... headphones and speaker...

Whenever i have headphones plugged in, even the ones that came with the phone, it still plays the notification (or ringtone) thru the speaker... i wear my earbuds all the time pretty much being in school and like to hear the notification in my ear, but not out loud... anybody have an idea? I searched to see if i could find a similar issue and either missed it or worded it wrong... I found nothing.

Rooted on CNA 1.1.4

Don't see anything for it in the general Android settings. Have you checked the Codename custom settings to see if there is anything for it there? Seems like it should default to the headphones if they're plugged in. Will look around and see what I can find.

Yeah, i even flashed 1.3.0 today to make sure it wasnt in that ROM. still does it. Even using the earbuds that came with the phone.

Have you tried any other ROMs to see if it's a Codename specific thing?

I havent, tend to not be the type to jump around too much. Hell, i kept my OG Droid for 2 years and the ear speaker never worked from day 1...

This is an issue I wont tolerate tho. LOL

I have the same problem on my D3 and DInc. Might be OS related.

The only ROM I know of that actually played notification sounds thru the headset or BT audio was CM7 on my D1.

It works properly for me, through the earbuds I use. I'm on stock, unrooted.

Got the same issue although on my device it's playing the sound on both the headset and the speaker at the same time..

Yeah, i should clarify... that is what it does on mine.
