Google app keeps shutting down

Ok I have my s6 edge for all of about an hour and have an issue.
My gmail can receive email no problem.
When I go to hit the email to open it, it crashes.
I shut the phone off and restarted still same issue.
It says unfortunately gmail has shut down. I hit report and it says unfortunately market feedback agent has stopped.

An ideas how to get this rolling correctly?

If you haven't done that much yet it might be a good time to try a factory reset.

With the issues you're having it couldn't hurt. If it's still a problem after a reset report back and we can look elsewhere.

I just got the S6 Edge last Sunday, but my S4 was doing the same thing around the same time yours was. Maybe it was a problem with the app. I think there was a GMail update in last few days so maybe that cured it. I haven't had the problem on the new device.
