Google calendar & google calendar Sync PROBLEMS!!!!!

OK here we go:

i have google calendar sync on my laptop and i have an htc inc2!
it was working perfectly then about 3 weeks ago....BAMMM! Nothing!
now even when i try to input an appt into my phone calendar it says updating & circles FOREVER!!! with nothing accomplished!
on my laptop it shows it is syncing... but doesn't!
nothing is working!
any thoughts here for HELP!?!?

i am running windows 7 on the laptop &
i am rooted on the inc2! go launcher! no task killers!

this is driving me nuts & i have spent hours trying to correct!
i need my appts syncing for business!

oh yeah...and when i try to add an event to the phone it says..."loading calendars" and spins forever!
UGH!!!!!!
