Google Calendar Sync Issue

I am having a problem syncing my Google and Outlook calendars, and have found no resolution on Google's site.

When I enter an appointment in Outlook, it appears on my Google calendar and my Eris.

I can delete the appointment on my phone and it disappears from my Google and Outlook calendars.

However, when I enter an appointment on my phone, it appears only on my Google calendar - never on Outlook.

I have 2-way sync enabled and have followed all of the usual trouble-shooting advise found on Google's forums, to no avail.

Anyone else experiencing this, or have any suggestions or solutions?
