google calendar ?

i don't know if this is the right forum for my question. i tried searching but couldn't find anything. here's my problem. i have synced outlook with google calendar (i'm coming from a blackberry, so this was a big deal for me to be able to sync). all of my info transfered fine to the google calendar. (example: i have an appointment on sept 28 with info that i need to refer to.) so now, when i look at the calendar on my droid, the info is only there for the past few months. i thought maybe it was an archiving problem, but it isn't...since all the info is still accessible in google calendar. and i've searched the settings on my phone to see if there is something i'm missing that may have been marked to only show the past few months. does anyone have any suggestions?

Make sure your sync option is set for two way sync and you are set for automatic sync. Otherwise you need to do a manual sync once in a while.

that's the odd thing. it is syncing fine. and the google calendar side has all the info. my droid has the info but only for the last two months. is there some function to change the time period?

Maybe you can help me, how did you sync your outlook calendar to your google calendar?

log on to google (i did it from my computer that has outlook) calendar then select the sync option. it will send you to the help page that has you download the program that lets you sync it.

Well done, Shuggy. I'm a Google Calendar convert from BB Storm. I was frustrated keeping three computers and a BB updated (don't ask). I finally settled on using GOOGLE calendar for EVERYTHING! In my office I use it and INVITE others using it as well as copy the occasional invite from others to it.

Then there's a great calendar widget that gives you an entire screen of your calendar for the next 25 entries on a live screen all the time. Cool stuff.

i'm still trying to figure out the problem i'm having. i tried uninstalling the sync
program and reinstalling it. but still only last few months info is showing up.

Flying by memory here, but there is SOMETHING in sync settings that only gives you a few months BACK and FORWARD to sync. I remember seeing that because it is important for me to see my schedule from a year back and a year forward and Google Sync would NOT accommodate that need. Research. Sorry I can't be more specific.

well that is a bummer. i need to look back at the past months. oh well, guess i won't have the ability from my droid.
