After having changed the Chromecast branding to "Google Cast" earlier this year in an attempt to separate the Chromecast from software built in to devices for casting, Google is preparing to rebrand once again. They will now soon begin to refer to Google Cast products as "Chromecast Built In". Partners like Vizio, Toshiba, and Phillips are already advertising products as having "Chromecast Built In". Hopefully Google will figure out the name they prefer and stick to it so as to avoid consumer confusion. I think this branding may be the best. It specifically explains what it is. A Chromecast is a device that you plug in to your TV. Chromecast built in just means the device you needed is already built in to the TV, simple enough.
