Along with all the other upgrades rolling out for Google apps in the wake of I/O, Earth is getting a noteworthy update as well. The update brings Google Earth to version 7.0, and is now live in the play market. Version 7.0 adds 3d imagery and allows you to explore 3d renders of select cities and locations. 3d imagery is only available on devices that have at least a dual-core processor. Another new feature added is Tour Guide. Tour Guide highlights the most interesting aspects of a city for both locals and tourists, then displays them on a pull up menu at the bottom of the screen.
