Google Goggles v. Barcode Scanner

Any well thought out opinions...
GG and BS they both do the 1d and 2d barcodes, but goggles is much more feature filled, while BS is a lot faster because you dont need to take a picture.

it seems like having both is unnecessary if goggles is working well.

the floor is yours.

i tried shop savvy, but left it out because its such a resource hog.
also can it link to websites to download things, view articles and whatnot?

I have no idea. The only thing I've used it for is to scan barcodes online for apps and such so anything other than that I'm really not familiar with

I use both, Barcode Scanner when I'm scanning JUST a barcode (like QR codes) and Goggles when I want to do price comparisons. Like stated, they have different feature sets (and I'd be more inclined to compare Shop Savvy to Goggles rather than Barcode Scanner).

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Google Shopper yet. I've seen people talk about saving money and what not using that for barcodes, so, it must work pretty well.
