Google Gone Rogue

Since the last Google app update my phone is just randomly coming on and saying "I didn't get that" or some other phrase. Almost every time it heard my voice it comes on interrupting my conversation or navigation or whatever.
I uninstalled it but I missed having the quick search. Reinstalled, keeps coming on and dailing my own phone number. Running 6.0.1, anyone else having this issue and have you resolved it?

Weird. No issue here. I'm guessing that it had you retrain the voice model or whatever they call it when you reinstalled it? That would've been my first suggestion.
