Google map problem

I have a Droid Eris. This is a recertified one I just recieved and the clock with weather and google maps shows me 200 miles north of where I am at. I have talked to tec support thru Verizon twice now. Still have not resolved the issue. Anyone have a clue as to how to fix this problem. Thanks for any help.

(1) Try to be near a window or outside when getting your GPS coordinates.

(2) Try clearing data & cache of Maps, rebooting your phone and trying again.

(3) Reset your phone to factory, if all else fails.

Thank you for the reply. I have already tried all that. It frustrates me I just got this phone and it is acting up. This makes my 3rd on since April this year. The first 2 had issues with locking up and the speakers was bad. Google maps worked great and the clock/weather worked great. They showed the correct location without having the GPS turned on. When I talked to support they told me nothing they could do. If I turn on wifi The weather and my location shows correct. If I turn on just the gps it will show my correct location on google maps but the weather is still 200 miles north of me. ???????
