Google Maps: Compass Mode

I don't know if this is a new feature but it's amazing and I didn't notice it until a couple days ago.

Go to an address in maps and hit street view. Then hit the menu button and hit "Compass mode".

Mind blown....

yeah its been in maps for a while but its kinda cool. a little buggy right now but im sure when android phones get gyroscopes it will be smooth as silk.
