Google Maps Issue

1. When i am done a navigation, I go to layers and there is still the option to navigate to the destination. How can i remove this from my layers options?

2. Does Maps use up a TON of batter for everyone else, I have GPS off all the time unless im using it, today i turned it on, checked the traffic on my route home, and turned it off. Over this span of maybe 10 minutes my batter turned to yellow and under battery use Display was first with 41% and Maps was second with 25%, this seems a lot for such a short time.

Any help?

As for the maps/gps I would not even think about using that without the car charger

but the battery usage seems way off with 25% for that amount of time that is based from when it was last charging so maybe you just unplugged it not to long before checking the usage?
