google maps..no sound on Jeep wrangler bluetooth radio

If I have the Bluetooth enabled the phone will not speak directions. Anyone know of a solution?

Is bt phone and media connected on the phone? When phone is connected, drop down menu > long press bt > click on settings wheel on far right. Phone and Media should be checked.

The volume on the radio is very minimal at best from the maps GPS. Can barley hear it when the radio is on. Is there a setting on the phone for increased volume thru the radio? If I disconnect the BT the phone speaks direction very loud.

Have you tried clicking volume up after it attaches? I know with mine I get a separate volume control slider for the bluetooth once it connects.

Whenever I connect BT on my phone it always starts at 0 volume.

ran the volume slide all the way to max volume. Still very little volume.
