google maps permission required

So I just recently flashed Apex 2.0 RC3 and after installing, I downloaded some of the google apps from the market (gmail, google voice, maps). Everytime I open maps, i get a message that says "login failed" and then the notification bar comes with multiple messages asking me to allow google maps to work...it then prompts for credentials. when i put in the email address I have attached to the phone it says account already exists.

Is there something I can do to fix this?

I would try using clockwork recovery to clear cache/data and running fix permissions
