Google Maps

Is anyone else having trouble with the newest version of google maps? The latest update would always force close and freeze my phone. Has anyone had the same problem and resolved it?

I have had constant problems with version 5 came out a few months back. Constant freeze ups etc, usually about 30 seconds after I open it. Sometimes I need to do a battery pull. It's truly annoying.

There does not seem to be any fix available.

You can uninstall the updates and that normally fixes the issue. Go back to version 4.5.

I wanted to know if there was anyway to get the newest version to run smoothly on the DP. Guess not.

Uninstalled the updates earlier as well. New version was fc on me.

I only had one issue with Maps on the Pro. It went away after the update. Haven't seen any issues so far with the newer versions.
