Google Music post ICS

Loving my Maxx and ICS but my only issue is something changed with the music players. I listed to audio books in the car (Sync) and at work via headphones and before ICS I went nearly two weeks straight without loosing my place on where I was pausing and restarting where I left off (also meaning these phones are nearly bulletproof and do not require reboots). After ICS it seems if I try and multitask it goes wacky and I have to figure out what chapter I was on in what book :X

Google Music is acting dumb and ONLY playing the file I select as well, at least the My Music player will play each file in succession. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe WinAmp will be better...

yes how does music player pause then resume after interruption?

Exactly! After ics, both google play and stock media player lost ability to pause then resume, e.g. for navigation or incoming call etc.
How do i enable that feature? Now player keeps running during navigation etc.

hmmm, you sure about that? Pause and resuming later works fine on my Maxx with ICS with Google Music.

I've switched to Winamp with great success. Occasionally it will refuse to continue where I left off (Sync bluetooth) but I can easily move chapters and go back where I was... which is more than I can say for the stock players.
