When I speak into google voice search and a list of destinations is shown. How are these destinations organized? By physical distance or by time it would take? I've checked a couple of the destinations and it seems to be pretty random.

I really wish the destinations showed how many miles it is from my current location or something.

Thanks!

i think it organizes according googles proprietary search algo

but probably organized by relevance

Thank you for your reply. Can you explain what exactly you mean by relevance? If I do a voice search for Walmart wouldn't all the search results be relevant, if they are the actual store.

say you search for "walmart." the results might be something like this

walmart
walmart auto
walmart pharmacy
walmart super store

the first result will be the closest match to the search term. then the following ones not so much.

then again google probably has a secret algorithm. so we'll never know
