Google search bar needs to go.....

I know it has been mentioned here before. Is there anyway to get rid of the google search bar on each page?

Install 3rd party launcher like nova or stop process in settings/apps/all...I use nova personally...

Settings>Apps>All>Google Search and hit Disable

The area won't be usable but the search bar will be gone.

What's the point then??? That is ridiculous that you can disable it but not gain the area, especially since it is on all screens.
