I accidentally deleted the Google search bar on the home screen. Any way to recover? I'm a newbie at this. Just got my Droid less than 24 hours ago! Help please! Thanks.

Hit the menu button on the home screen. Select add then widget and choose Google search and all will be well :)

Long press on the home screen, select widgets and scroll down to g search click it and it will pop up .

FWIW you have a search button on the bottom of your Droid that will also bring up the Google search screen.

I just think those widgets take up room on the screen, but that's me, if you're happy with it that's all that matters.

This is the same way I feel about the Google search widget, I just use the soft button at the bottom instead.
