Google Sign in error

I get the google sign in error like once a day or ever other day. I have to type in the word like 5 or so times before it will accept it(I dont know if it is accepting it or just giving up). I type it in right too, but it just keeps coming up.

Any idea what this is?

Have you tried completely removing the Google account and adding it back again fresh? that would be my first recommendation. Second would be a hard reset and set up again.

I have done hard resets but that only fixes the problem for a day or two. Ill try removing the account.

If removing and resetting the account doesn't work, you've got a deeper problem going on with the phone I'm afraid. Try the remove and replace and post up what happens.

That did not work. I think I may need to just get a different phone because this isnt the first or only minor issue I have had with the phone.

People generally love the Incredible. If you're in your first 30 days that's certainly what you can do, but you might just want to switch it out for another Incredible. What attracted you to the Incredible in the first place?

This is well outside of the thirty days. I love my phone, just I sometimes have minor issues with the phone. By different phone I dont mean a different model. I wont be switching from the Incredible.

i had a similar issue on my droid x. when i went to the youtube app it would show some google captcha -?- and it wouldnt let me search for videos. i tried restarting my phone and nothing. i then tried to use a task killer and stop youtube, which seemed to work. might want to try that
