Google To Reveal a Surprise at MWC 2012?

Is Google planning a surprise at MWC 2012, or did they just put together a fancy little teaser site to promote the February 27-March 1 event? We would guess the former, but that remains to be seen. Why go through the hassle of putting together such a nice teaser site with countdown clock just to promote an event you are not going to be actively involved in? This could be nothing, but it sure is going to drum up a lot of speculation and excitement. A precursory search of the internet yielded no tangible results about Goole's intentions, but we sure are curious. Anyone out there have an idea what this is all about? We'd love to hear from you.
