google to stop working on new OS and start working on apps

It seems google is happy with 2.1...and they are tired of the fragmentation of devices.

So there answer? Stop furiously pumping out upgraded operating systems...and start working on apps.

I am looking forward to seeing what they have in mind! I am guessing most of it will incorporate Flash which is eventually coming to 2.1.
