Does anyone know how to NOT get an email notification when you receive a voice mail? If you go into Google Voice settings and turn off Gmail sync, it's all inclusive. Meaning you get no notification of any incoming email. Very annoying. Thanks in advance.

It sounds to me like you are talking about the settings on your phone. What you need to do is go into your settings on your Google Voice page and change it there.

Go to your Google Voice page and go to settings/google voice and select the tap voice mail & text. You can uncheck the notification by gmail there. You can also check to be notified by text, or simply not be notified by leaving both boxes without checks.

That should take care of it for you. Let me know if that did the trick.

Covered above but you don't want to disable sync for what you're looking to accomplish. Sync is what the GV app on your device and GV use to, well, sync.

Perhaps I wasn't clear in my OP. The sync menu was in the settings menu within GV. Which, apparently, directs you to your overall sync blah blah. I don't understand why you can't un-sync individual apps without un-syncing(?) everything else. But I digress.
