Got my first duplicate texts after GB

Hope I don't have this happen again, too. None since prior to GB update I've had a week. Has your phone sent duplicate texts as well? Mine was doing that, usually after a reboot, prior to getting GB, but none since.

I was sending out duplicate texts on reboot. I disabled callback number and enabled delivery confirmation in the messaging settings about 2 weeks prior to GB and have not had a problem since.

I have gotten a couple of duplicates since update....no where near as bad as it was before though. I can live with it But lets hope it was a fluke or gets resolved sometime

I've gotten a duplicate text on one occasion. I thought to myself, "&$%# here it goes again" .... but it hasn't happened since, thankfully :icon_ banana:

Could you please turn on delivery confirmation if it isn't already? That's something I did, but never made the connection that may be the key. Thanks to ELH for mentioning that. I don't think the callback number has anything to do with it since I've always had that turned off since I got my phone 6 weeks ago and was receiving multiple duplicate texts as well as sending duplicates on reboot.

edit: Now that I think about it, the delivery confirmation probably won't make difference on received texts since it's for confirmation of texts sent from your phone.

Correct. My dupes are only on received texts.
