We usually activate Call Canada while traveling from the US to Canada. However, our next ride will be a short one and will not activate Canada.
My question, if I turn roaming OFF, can I still get a GPS lock in Canada. I know I cannot use Google, but we use CoPilot anyway, thus no Data is needed from a tower for maps etc.. I am not sure if the Droid can get a GPS lock just by knowing the cell towers near it or does it need to have access to the tower in order for the GPS to lock?
