GPS issue

I have been having issues with the GPS on my dx2. Whenever I try to use an app that uses GPS (like, Map My Walk or All Sport GPS) it indicates that it has no signal. These apps used to work beautifully, but not anymore. I have all of the GPS services turned on and I have the WiFi off. Any clues?

rooted/rom?
if it's not a hardware issue, corrosion on a connection or something

you can try a factory reset/data wipe
you need to save any data you may want, texts, call log, verify contacts backup/sync
I recommend backing up texts and call log with SMS Backup +

or try flashing a sbf factory restore image
HowTo: Perform a SBF ("factory restore") of your Motorola Droid X2
also a video
SBF with RSD lite. (Back to stock 2.3.4)
