Just came from a Blackberry storm which was never the best with gps satelite acquisition or pinpointing location, but so far I've had issues with the Droid X. Outdoors it's no issue but when I'm inside a building (even just a one story) it can't acquire satellites, or it'll show that it has acquired but can't pinpoint a location. I know phones and stand alone GPS units have the ability to locate through buildings so I was just wondering if anyone else experienced these kind of issues. Thanks! dancedroid

Do you have assisted GPS Enabled?

Settings, Location and security settings.

I didn't but I have enabled it now and still seem to have trouble locating myself in Maps and Navigation

I'm having the same issue. lots of problems trying to acquire satellites. Had to shut down and restart a few times to get a lock on GPS.

It does seem to have a weakness in this regard. You have to be right next to a window (if indoors) to get the GPS signal. Maybe go old school and use some tin foil as a supplimental rabbbit ear anntena?
