Which GPS settings should I have enabled Google or Stand alone services? What's the difference and which one is the best on battery life?

Enable both, they dont run if you dont use them.U can always put up power widget and turn that off and on.

Agreed. Also GPS will show "not enabled" if you do not select Standalone GPS service when setting up your phone for the first time.
