GPS turning on automatically

Hi All,

I am facing a problem with my android phone recently.
The GPS in my phone is turned on automatically even if i go to the settings and turn it off... This is eating away the battery very quickly...:angry:

I have Uninstalled all the applications on the phone one-by-one and restored the built in apps to the way they were when i bought the phone... (I basically restored it to the factory settings)
Even then i have the same problem... What ever i do with the phone, the GPS is turned on periodically...

Any help is appreciated...:smile:
