I just found out about GQueues today, and so far it's AWESOME! Until now, I've had to rely on Outlook for my task manager, and tasks were the only thing that I couldn't keep at my fingertips (didn't care for any of the task manager apps). GQueues has a great task manager with recurring events that can automatically sync with your Google calander, and thus your phone (if you want it to).

I really don't need Outlook for anything anymore. :icon_ banana:

Now, the only thing Google doesn't know about me is what I look like naked.:icon_ devil:

Unless you might happen to have some naked photos on your phone then Google knows ALL

Interesting. Gonna have to check this out. I was using gtasks for this functionality.

Yep, Exactly!

I use it all the time. I task chores, school assignments, even a wish list. The great thing is it combines with the google calendar, so I know when a scheduled task is due. Another great thing is you can email, sms, or instant message your task to gqueue from any device that lets you. Google seem to be trying to take over the world one app at a time. :icon_evil:

How do you sync the tasks with your phone? I have it set up to integrate with my google calendar and it shows when I view my calendar online. However, I don't see a way to get it to show such as in Agenda Widget. Is it possible?

Edit: Disregard. My calendar hadn't synced on my phone for awhile. I did it manually and can now add the gqueue calendar in my widget.

Interesting app. Clearly it's an effort to improve upon the impoverished 'gtasks' app. Appears to provide much if not all the functionality provided by Remember the Milk.

Unfortunately (and oddly) there is no native droid app while there is one for the iPhone. It's a tough call but I'll stick with RTM for the present simply because I don't have to go onto the net to access the application through the browser.

I don't use my droid to enter info into my google calendar. I use my desktop (yes, desktop; I hate laptops). On my droid, I email reminders to myself to do so. Fortunately, through gqueue, I can format the reminder in such a way that will allow it to enter into my gqueue account as a task. From there it automatically links to my google calender.
This may sound weird, but even though I spend hours playing with my new toy (droid), in the end to me it is simply a phone.

I had actually gone looking for the little add-on for gtask in Google calendar the other day. It had been on the side at one point. Guess they are ditching that in favor of gqueues. Hopefully they will work on an app for it.

I should check out RTM again, it was insanely stupid on a windows mobile phone so after checking it out I never played with it again.

I like RTM a lot and will continue to use it rather than gqueues simply for the droid app if nothing else. But if I were starting from scratch at this point I'd be sorely tempted to go with gqueues and expect a droid app to come along pretty promptly. The already have an iPhone app, after all.

RTM integrates relatively well with Google calendar and Astrid but I suspect that gqueues will soon outshine it.
