Hi everybody,
After owning a Droid2 for about a year (first android phone) I decided it was time to learn about rooting. I stumbled across this forum and found it to be very informative. I have tried to install the Liberty ROM but, after running it the first time I found my Keyboard didn't light up and all my contacts and data were gone. I got a little scared and restored it to my last backup. Not sure if I want to go with ROMs anymore lol. Anyway, look forward to learning a lot from this community.

Thanks, it was Liberty V 2.0.1 and I think I did wipe before the install as stated on the instructions. Maybe I misunderstood, I don't know lol.
