Has anyone downloaded this? Every time I try and use it, it says I have to force close. Anyone else have this problem?

Is the name of the app "Grocery List"? If so, I haven't tried that app but I do have one called "Our Groceries" that is pretty awesome, and free (Oh, and no force closing!)

There are two apps listed as "Grocery List" and one of them has a 1 star review. You may want to try something else out. Do you need a list that tracks prices also, or just a simple list?

I was referring to the one that has 3 stars. I see in their comments that I am not the only one that is having issues with the Droid. What I wanted was something like the grocery list app. Something I write stuff down and then cross it out as I get it.

As noted on another thread, the paid version of "Note Everything" includes this functionality (along with lots of other neat features for taking all kinds of notes (audio, video, camera, text, and handwritten)). I'd recommend it highly.

In "Note Everything" the feature that supports a grocery list is called a "durable checklist."

What it does not have that I believe "Our Groceries" supports is a "shared" list among multiple members of the same household. That's a neat feature if your family is especially organized (or disorganized, I suppose) but in our household we almost never encounter a case where two people independently purchase the same items. Much more likely to have the opposite problem.

That's exactly the point of "our groceries." If one is at the grocery store the other sees you need something and picks it up for you.

I use Our Groceries, it's a good app.

That's true. Of course (unless I'm mistaken) it requires both parties to have the application. We're currently a one droid, two phone household.

It is available for Android and iPhone. I am hoping they add a web (or even PC or MAC) client since we too are a single Smartphone home until the iPhone comes to Verizon, but I would like the ability to have my wife update the list.

We do the exact opposite. We both go shopping, and head in opposite directions. We've found its quicker for each of us to shop, and check items off the list. Plus if we end up at different stores, we can compare prices via text as well.

OI CHECKLIST is the app that you are looking for , it allows you to check and uncheck your item as you are throwing them in your grocery cart.......it allows you to calculate your purchases (not including tax) , it allows you to input the quantity you need , and include more notes with each item. Its a fantastic app

+1 on Our Groceries. Works great!

My wife and I also use Our Groceries. She'll send me to the store and she can sit at home watching me check off items. :)

Only thing I wish I could do is add the aisle that the item is on and then sort that way.
