Group contact list?

New Droid owner -- love it so far, except I can't figure out how to create group contacts? I coach tennis and this is how I get ahold of all my players, so it's frustrating not to have my groups! Am I just an idiot? I can't figure out how to create them -- please help! Thanks so much!

I created all of mine on the Gmail Web interface.....easy to do...
