I saw a screen shot in this forum yesterday that showed a DX that had icons grouped by categories. I have been trying to figure out how to do this, and have had no luck. I tried Apps Organizer, but that appeared to just kind of put icons into folders. I am looking to have some of the icons visible in the grouping instead of simply choosing an icon to represent them all.

Anyone know how to do this?

The easiest thing to do would be to ask the person who posted the screen shot?

Were you talking about the icons in the App Tray/Drawer? Go Launcher can group app icons in the App Tray/Drawer. The individual apps remain visible.

No, not in my App Drawer. On my phone screens...

Kinda like an iPhone...

You can do that using an app call folder organizer on the market. Within the app the is an option to show the apps that are in the folder.

Go launcher..... free in market. Its a replacement launcher. You can do exactly what your describing.

Look at my.thread "what are my options to make my stock x look better". Think page 4 has my old screen shot. I have switched to launcher pro. Go launcher was good but didnt have some features that i wanted.

Edit.... Couldnt figure out how to copy from my phone. Thought I would save you the trouble. Like I said Go launcher was a good replacement. I just wanted more options than what it offered. So far this is the only replacement launcher that offers this.
