I know that for some weird reason the Galaxy line of phones can't receive MMS when on WiFi - is there any work around though? I found some setting in Go SMS that mentions APN settings as a potential workaround but I have no idea what to enter. I'm on VZW, GS4.
The funny thing is I noticed that if on wifi and I send an mms the phone automatically uses mobile data for the few seconds to send the media then switches back to wifi. Great question.

this is because the messages have to go through the Verizon network to send a message so the only way for it to connect to the network is using there data that is why it switches to mobile data when sending a text or mms
Yeah I'm unable to send or receive MMS when I have mobile data off. I started just leaving it on even though I keep connected to WiFi anytime I'm not out, because it doesn't seem to affect much.
