GTA3 VERY poor performance

I am getting major lag/stuttering/slow downs in GTA3 on my GNexus. It happens every 5-10 seconds and makes the game unplayable. It happens on this phone and the GNexus that it replaced. Happens with and without higher GFX. Happens on stock 4.0.2 and Android Revolution 2.1.2. Is anyone else having this problem?

It just may be because GTA3 isn't optimized for ICS?

I have it on my Xoom and it runs fine, haven't tried it on my Nexus. I can't get Madden running on the Nexus at all, says it won't run on the device so I'm assuming it's just not optimized for the Nexus

Really mine runs fine. Are u under clocked? I havent messed with anything with the cpu

Mine runs fine....I play it daily while on the bus.

Have you tired the xda mod to make it high res and fix the multi touch?
