Handcent breaking up text?

So recently my girlfriend is telling me that when she sends texts over 160 I dont get them as usual, so I checked around in the settings and i couldnt find anything so help please?
I hope I explained enough.. basically my INCOMING texts are being broken up

Your having problems receiving them if they are over 160?? And your using handcent??

yes...and I get them delayed sometimes, but most of the time she says it says i recieve them, but on my phone I never get them

Have you tried going into the stock messenger and seeing if they are in there?

I found with Verizon I had to do a Simple Break in the Handcent settings for messages that are over 160 characters. Otherwise my recipients wouldn't get them.

But he is having problems receiving them.... I have never had that, have you big?

Also the only time I have had to do a simple break is when sending. Over 160 to a non Verizon customer, otherwise it worked well.

it just happened recently maybe a month ago...on her phone it says that I recieve the text but I never do, and only one time I remember it was delayed and broken up into 3 seperate texts..

So did you look in the stock messanger app and see if they showed in there and not just handcent?
