Handcent question

Today I tried out handcent and I really like it. The only problem is that when I get a text message the notification show up for both the standard message app and handcent. Is there a way to turn off notifications by the standard app? Thanks

Yes, under menu. Notifications.

select the message icon>press the options button>select settings>turn off notifications in status bar and select no ringtone.

FYI if you ever decide to go into your default messaging app and delete any or all threads it will be deleted in handcent also.
