Handcent question

Okay I hope this is the proper thread. But I just dowloaded handcent and I am enjoying it. But the x still counts the texts and so I get dual notifications. I would like to just have the handcent notifications. Is there any way to disable the stock stuff? I am rooted but running stock ROM since I am still learning. If anyone can help that would be a bottle of awesome sauce. Thanks in advance!

Sure open the stock app, tap menu, tap notification, tap silent

I'm not sure but I would think that each app would count independently of each other.

Ok. Problem solved. Silencing the blur side fixed it now I just get the handcent notifiers. Its perfect. Thanks guys!

Upper screen status? That can be turned off in handcent settings,popup, if memory serves.
It can also be reset to 0 when you want it to. I've got mine set to delete once a month

Does anyone know if there is an option to sort the message list in handcent by new messages? It used to do this before 2.2 andnow my new messages are all over the place and its really annoying. The Incredible's update to 2.2 didn't cause this issue so is it a droid x issue or handcent? Any suggestions creamy appreciated. Thanks in advance
