Handcent resending old messages when turnning on phone.

Every time I turn on my droid, it will resend old texts messages. I turned it on this morning, and it resent 13 messages to one girl, and one to another. It does this every time. Anybody else have this problem, or know a way to fix it? It's pretty annoying.
