Handcent Texting Wrong Contacts

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? I sent 3 or 4 text messages to someone, and someone else I was texting got them. I checked my sent messages, and I had sent them to the intended contact, but Handcent sent them to someone else. This happened last week, as well. It seems to use the contacts that you have been texting, and haven't deleted the sent messages to them. I can see this being a huge problem if you were texting something very personal, and it went to someone other than who you intended... :icon_ nono2:

Is there a way to pick multiple recipients for texts (like to send a group message, "let's golf Sunday")?
Also, can I send quick texts to callers when I can't answer the phone but want to let them know I'm busy?
Also, I can't find a way to place paragraphs in a messages. I can only send one long line of text.

I've seen a few of these threads before where this exact same thing happened. I don't know what the fix was or if there even was one but you might want to search and take a look.

If you are using handcent next to the address bar when you are creating a text is a + sign. Press that and your contact list will come up and you can check off who you want to send the message to. Hit the back button and it will take you back to the message body. You should see all the numbers in the address box.

If you are using handcent next to the address bar when you are creating a text is a + sign. Press that and your contact list will come up and you can check off who you want to send the message to. Hit the back button and it will take you back to the message body. You should see all the numbers in the address box.

You also have the option of showing group texts as a single text to each recipient after you send them. It's an option in the main option list.
I think you can get a paragraph by hitting enter on the kb. That will give you a new line and I guess you can space a few to indent.

I've seen a few of these threads before where this exact same thing happened. I don't know what the fix was or if there even was one but you might want to search and take a look.

I searched using "handcent" and a few variations, but there were just too many results, and frankly, I don't have the time to go through each and every one of them. I just removed the app. Being able to check ppl on my contact list was nice, but the privacy of my texts is more important.

I have had this happen to me multiple times... I will open up "Steve's" window to send him a text and after I send I will notice it says "John" at the top of the window, but it is the conversation I have been having with Steve that shows up in the conversation window. I back out and go back in and its all the correct names with conversations, but the text was actually sent to the wrong person. It is frustrating.
