Hands-Free Calls Unlocking Phone

Hello,
I only recently purchased my galaxy nexus and have only had this one problem. When I use the headphones to make a hands-free call it unlocks the phone. It will be in my pocket and buttons will get pushed or the call hung-up on by accident as a result. I've looked for an option to fix this under settings but have had no luck. Anyone know a fix for this issue?

That's weird because I use my headphones all the time and take calls occasionally with no issue whatsoever. Sorry, no solution either.
