The app is next to perfect now. Just need to fix the keyboard lag that the Droid has in general.

At first I assumed he meant for pics, but 1) don't feel like checking, and 2) You still view it through the gallery or whatever pic app you have, so it makes absolutely no difference.

I'm getting it from the update that I downloaded an hour ago. It reads key presses if you happen to hold your finger over another letter while typing another too fast.

Oh, ok. Not really the widely accepted use of the word "multitouch" but it is just that I guess... neat, not really noticed a differencet though.

I'd take the standard keyboard over any of the others (including swipe... blasphemy?!)... although the iphone keyboard is pretty damn accurate.

I'm with you, I'm not super impressed with swype. I've had to stop and correct more with swype then with the regular keyboard. I have small fingers, so touch screen keyboards aren't a huge problem for me given the size of the Droid's screen.

Will have to check my phone, don't think I got a notification for updating handcent yet. Though I'm not super impressed with that yet, but trying to give it more time since everyone says I should get it.

My fingers aren't small, but I'm pretty quick with the standard keyboards, landscape, portrait, and the hard keyboard. And Handcent is so useful to me just because of the popup. I have it set up the EXACT same (colors and everything) as the standard app b/c I used it for so long, but I have a popup, and the widget is pretty cool.

Interesting...Is this for the default keyboard? I'm a little confused because does Handscent install it's own keyboard? I've been using swype these days but thought I'd have a change for a regular keyboard, Cyril's Smart keyboard seems really nice.

Never said Swype was end-all for text input, just that I have it, and am not un-installing it for MT on the kb just in Handcent. It would have to be system wide for me to take full advantage.
